Boxofficemojo.com released some preliminary estimates this afternoon that show SOAP grossing $14MM for the weekend ($15MM if you include the advance screenings on Thursday night). The numbers aren't final yet, but it seems unlikely that they'll change by a factor of 40% between now and tomorrow afternoon. For those of you who have difficulty with math, 15 is less than 21. I win the bet.

Now, I'd never be one to rub this in the face of my roommate. That wouldn't be sporting. However, to those of you who said "she's winning this bet", or who applauded my "if you were pulling the 'Richard Nixon's middle name is Moe' move" savvy, or who drooled at the chance to take the over after learning of the bet, or who suggested that I was "smoked [and] shoulda checked with us Hollywood types" before making the bet, or who thought that the internet "nutcases will go see it 6 times in 3 days" or who called me, simply, "toast", I have this to say:
